iOS6 Is Out Now

I was expecting more from the new update. However, I still haven't managed to check all the new feature available in iOS6. The first thing I did after updating my iPhone to iOS6 was to check the Passbook Application.  Unfortunately Apple still hasn't added the ability to add passes directly to the Passbook! I wasn't able to check the App. There is a website were you can test the Passbook application directly from your iPhone through Safari. It's called the PassSource . I've managed to test the App from my iPhone and created boarding passes and other passes.

iPhone 10 Funny Post

Speaking of the height thingy in my previous post, which is something I didn't like about the new iPhone-5. Check Mashable's recent funny post about the tallest iPhone "iPhone 10" isn't that hilarious!

Apple Officially Announced iPhone 5

Yes it's thinner, lighter & faster, but taller :( which is something I didn't really like about the new iPhone! Why taller ? Maybe Apple just wanted to slightly change the visual appearance to their new iPhone, to differentiate the it from the previous iPhones. Other than that I don't see a good reasons for the extra 0.37 inches in height, and I find the height/size of the previous iPhones much nicer!

iPhone 5 supports the LTE"Long Term Evolution" 4G.  The existing micro-sim cards is no longer compatible with the new iPhone 5! If your carrier do not provide the nano-sim card then you have to wait until they decide to do so! a month? 3 month? a year? who knows! Cutting a Micro-Sim card to Nano-Sim size won't work! Why? Because the Nano-Sim is 15 % thinner than the Micro-Sim cards.  The new iPhone comes with a lightning connector much slimmer than the previous 30-pin connector, and the price range is between $199 and $ 399.

You don't have to get the new iPhone 5 to enjoy all the new feature available in iOS 6, you still can upgrade your old iPhone (is it really old?), to iOS 6 which comes with a great new app called Passbook a place where you can keep all your stuff organized (Boarding Passes, Loyalty cards, Cinema Tickets, gift cards, etc..) and get instant updates on your flight status, transactions, and other features.

Online pre-orders starts September 14, and it'll be available at Apple Retail Store on September 21.

This is not a Test User account - Please create a new account in the Sandbox Environment !

Error Message "This is not a Test User account - Please create a new account in the Sandbox Environment" The above error appears to some people for different reasons: It might be after an IOS update to their iPad/iPhone/iPod. Other reasons would be an attempt to use your iTunes account information "Username & password" on other devices,  for instance, if you enter your account information on someone else's iPhone which is already linked to their own user name & password, you'll face this problem later on when you try to access you account info for any reason update/download Apps, or whatsoever on your device. Some people do that to permit others download their own purchased books, Tv series, etc.. on other devices using iCloud to reinstall already purchased items!

The only way to solve this problem is to reset your device. First you have to enter iTunes ->Store, under Settings, click on your Apple ID and Sign Out.  After signing out you should turn your device Off and then turn it On.

Then under Settings, enter the General Tap and select Reset.

You should only click on the first option "Reset All Settings" under Reset.

After reseting your iPhone/iPad/iPod you'll be asked to restore your data either by iCloud if you set one already, or by iTunes. If you select the option "Set to new device" you won't be able to synchronize your data! Make sure to transfer your contacts before reseting your device. other stuff like Photos, Notes, emails will be available and remain the same.  There'll be some minor changes such as your phone sounds preference, and background wallpaper, will be set to the manufacturer settings, and your WiFi Networks passwords you'll need to insert them again.  Do not forget to restore your device after the reset in order to be able to use it again!

In love with Instagram !

This little iPhone App is so amazing! Although it has few options were you can slightly modify you pic with some filters available in Instagram, it does make a difference, and at the end you get decent results! With Instagram you can also share your pics with your friends directly via Instagram or send it to your Facebook, twitter, etc... It is pretty much like tweeting but instead of sharing words with others, you share pictures.

Help raise awareness about PIPA & SOPA

"Two bills are currently being considered in the U.S. Congress: PIPA the “Protect IP Act” and SOPA the “Stop Online Piracy Act” Both are designed to address a legitimate problem – foreign-based websites that are engaging in digital piracy and trafficking in counterfeit goods."
