Nokia E71

I needed a new mobile and wasn't really sure which one to choose! I was checking in the Internet for new mobiles, and checking some other blogs for people reviews. I found a post on Marks blog about the E71, and started reading through the review/comments. Most of the reviews for Nokia E71 clearly states the important functions/options that have to be in nowadays mobile . I went to FCC yesterday to check the E71. it looks pretty cool, in fact, the E71 is much smaller and thinner than what I saw in the Internet! it costs 159KD with a year and half warranty from FCC.

First of all, and as I mentioned the E71 looks much better in reality! much slimmer and smaller. Unlike other Nokia's series, the E71 has it full qwerty standard keyboard. You'll be using your both thumbs while typing, but the only bothering issue is the keyboard keys-> small/closed to each others, in which you may accidentally hit other letters while text messaging or blogging!

The most important thing is the battery. With WiFi and bluetooth turned on, still you have a good amount of battery savage.
The E71 comes with Micro SD 2GB memory card. it has many means of connectivity "USB, WiFi, Bluetooth, modem, infrared".

Also there is two type of notes. The normal note and the active notes, where you can add insert object to your notes such as " image, sound/video clip,file, etc.." and send it normally via MSG/MM/EM/BT or link it to a call " by adding a contact name to the note, to show your note during a call".

New Features from Nokia:

1- Predictive text input: This feature enable text predicting"Autocompelet word", when you start typing it completes your word with the proper matching word.
2- Switch mode button: you can choose/switch between two different screens, each containing different list depending on your needs.

Overall the E71 is an excellent phone at least the best from Nokia!

The New Iphone 3G

Apple is introducing their new edition of Iphone 3G with much faster speed and lower price as low as $199. The new Iphone permits the developer to create their own applications. IP3G now available in two colors and storage capacity, either black/8GB or white/8GB & 16GB of memory. The new Iphone 3G will be available for customers on July 11 for most of the countries.

Features added to the Iphone 3G:

1-3G Speed.
2- Active Synchronization with Microsoft Exchange.
3- GPS.
4- Enhanced email management.
5- Searching contacts.

WildCharge

Wildcharge is the new innovation of 2007, it enables mobiles, PDAs and other electronic devices to be charged simultaneously, up to 5 devices can be charged at the same time. For the meantime only Motorola Razar V3 phones can be charged wirelessly through the wildcharger bad, and within the upcoming months Wildcharge will be available for other mobiles phones, and music players. It will be including adapters for Iphone, Ipod family and Blackberry.

I loved this mobile for one reason which is the 5 Megapixel Cam, I can take a decent snapshots using the k850i, so there is no need to grab my cam with me when ever I go out.

The only thing I didn't like about this mobile, that it does not provide a wireless conectivity!

Coloring your Iphone

I was searching for the Iphone customization and while I was checking my searched page I find colorwarepc website, they have a variety of brands for coloring like (Ipods, laptops , Iphones) and they provide different shapes and colors options. The most interesting was for the Iphone where I can change the color of everything even the headset, the dock and the entire OS functionality.

Nokia E90

After the release of the Iphone I find out that it won't work in my country! I had a big disappointment which make me change my mind and think about other mobile.. For now I think will buy the E90 Nokia, it looks cool, with variety of options and advanced in technology.

Apple iphone June 29, 2007

its been a long time waiting patiently for the iphone, and now what left is only five days for the iphone to be offecially released, can't wait to order it.
