Thus ISP's and other big organizations need take this seriously and deploy their system in order to make it easy to shift from IPv4 to IPv6 ! newcomers wont be able to get ip addresses under the 32 bits IPv4 standards, and they need to use IPv6. Only 0.2% of the companies are using the 128 bits IPv6, introduced long time ago. Unfortunately IPv4 & IPv6 are not directly compatible with each other. for instance programs and system designed for IPv4 cannot communicate with those designed for IPv6. With the recent system, cellular, computers, etc.. it is hard to use the IPv6 standards, those system will not function well with it. The firewall on those systems for example will keep blocking and will not grant access to the Internet. I think it is time to take a step further and develop a scalable systems and use a set of new methods to increase the compatibility between both standards and avoid any future complications.

I've got this book from a small bookshop last month while I was in Italy. If you read the name of this book you'll think it's all about Mind Games! While in fact it's not ! The name only reflects one of it's topics. It’s more about a detailed information about the mind and everything related to our brain and it’s fictionality. It starts with an illustration of the inner contents of the brain, and then it goes through some facts about it, like how to enhance your brain functionality, and the nutrients needed for brain enhancement. Then it continuos with other topics like “memorization, optical illusions, synchronicity, speed reading, reading body language, telepathy, stress reducing tips, etc..”. I am not done yet with it, but I can tell from what i’ve already read it’s an amazing book!

I've always wondered about the possibilities of two things:

1- Time Travel "folding time" moving through the forth dimension.

2- Teleportation "moving through space".

Today while I was reading through PCWorld blogs, I came across an article about the "Extraction of timelike entanglement from the vacuum" a paper submitted by S. Jay Olsan & Timothy C. Ralph at the department of physics, University of Queensland, Australia.

Unlike the the typical definition of Teleportation where two physical objects can travel in space, Teleportation in Time travel has the same concept except that not only the object can travel from place to place but also it can "move between different points in time" thus, to travel between the present and the future !

Using your WD External Hard Drive with MAC

When you connect your Western Digital External Drive to your Mac laptop you'll notice that your Mac can only read the contents of the WD drive, which is basically a couple of folders containing softwares and the instruction manual of the WD drive.

You won't be able to store folders/pics/docs or whatsoever in your WD, not even to alter the contents of your external drive.

in order to set up your WD drive and make it ready for use.. you have to choose among 3 options, but remember, there are pros and cons for each choice !

Option 1: Format your WD drive with fat32

with this option you can use your WD drive with both OS MAC and Windows. this choice formats all the data stored in your WD drive "you can copy these data into your desktop and add them back again to your WD drive later on", of course that's if you really need those data, other wise just skip it ";0"!

All what you have to do is: Click on your Macintosh HD icon and locate your Applications folders, and from the Applications folder select Utilities/Disk Utilities that will show a popup windows, select your Passport Drive, and choose the erase tap located on the right side

your volume format should be MS-DOS (FAT). it should take seconds to erase your drive.

Pros: You'll be able to use your WD drive on both Windows and Mac OS.

Cons: The maximum file size per file is no more than 4GB otherwise it wont be saved & lt's not really a big deal!

Option 2 : Format your WD drive with Mac Os Extended

Follow the same steps as illustrated in Option 1 except that the volume format here should be MAC OS EXTENDED instead of MS-DOS(FAT).

Pros: size is not an issue."you can save a file sized more than 4GB"

Cons: it'll work solely on your Mac perfectly, but unfortunately you wont be able to use your WD drive with windows!!

Option 3: use a third party software

If I were you I would definitely skip this option ;/

I've been using Google docs for a while now to view/edit my doc/excel files online through my web browser, and I am so excited that Microsoft office web app is finally available ! Of course it does not have all the options/features yet available but I hope it'll be updated very soon.

I always wondered why my iPad does not support flash games! like for example playing Facebook games on my iPad without the need to download it from the Apps store! or even checking some of the website that requires flash!
Steve Jobs explained 6 reasons for Apple not to support flash on their iPads, iPods, and iPhone. after reading the "thoughts on Flash" article, it makes sense for me now to realize why my iPad does not support flash and I kinda agree with Steve!

1- Openness: rather than using Flash, Apple has adopted open standards like HTML5, CSS, and Java Script because they believe any standards pertaining to the web should be open. On the other hand, Adobe's Flash products are only available from Adobe and controlled entirely, hence flash is a close system.

2-Full Web: Adobe has repeatedly said that Apple mobile devices cannot access “the full web” because 75% of video on the web is in Flash. What they don’t say is that almost all this video is also available in a more modern format, H.264, and viewable on iPhones, iPods and iPads.

3- Reliability, security, and performance: Flash having the worst security record in 2009 highlighted by Semantic. Flash is not performing well on mobile devices!

4- Battery Life: to achieve long battery life when playing video, mobile devices must decode the video in hardware! decoding the video in software consumes to0 much power!

5- Touch Screen technology: Flash was mainly designed for PC and Mice, not for touch screens using fingers. most of flash websites will need to be rewritten to support touch based devices since Apple's multi touch interface on the iPods, iPads, and iPhones does not use a mouse.

6- Painful experience with third party.

If you are using IE V8 you might have noticed some web sites are not displayed/work correctly while browsing the net!
For example detecting misplaced contents on some web sites “Menus, Text, Images,columns in the wrong position”. Or maybe some features does not work in a certain website or your IE suddenly crashes. That happens because of compatibility issues such that some website are designed for older browsers until they are updated for IE8 !

1- Open your IE
2- Select “Tools” drop down menu from the menu bar.
3- On the Tools menu, click on “Compatibility view Settings”.

I went to Mall 360 yesterday to watch the "transformers: revenge of the fallen" movie in the IMAX theatre and while I was there and Just before leaving the mall after watching the movie, I spotted Nespresso shop! It took me a second to think "shall I get the Le Cube coffee maker + the Aeroccino Milk Frother now or maybe later?!!" Finally I decided to enter the shop and get both!

Later on I started to read the manual and check out the Grand Crus that comes inside the Nespresso box! There were 16 different Grand Crus with different taste and blends from different origins!

After trying like 4 types during the day I was so in love with the "Ristretto" Grand Cru which was exactly how I like my Espresso to be, just strong in flavour and body.

Today I went to Kuwait exhibition at Mishrif - Hall 8. It was Zain's 6th Carnival which started on the 23th of April and will be going until the 2nd of May 2009. They have lots of great deals.. I was checking the blogs at the University in my break... Until I reached Ansam's post about Wok Master. The Chinese box captured my attention! & the Singaporean Noodles too.
I was starving to death at that time, waiting patiently for the lecture to end.

As for me it depends on the purpose of using it.. for instance, I use AOL browser to gain access to blocked websites!

When I am using my mac OS I prefer to use FireFox. and with Windows OS I normally use Internet Explorer 7. Sometimes I shift between Flock, Opera and Chrome. But most of the time I use MSIE 7.0. Dont ask me why! It just makes me feel comfortable while I am using it!

Who said ushopweship delivers your shipment within a week?!! If I told you that before, then I am sorry!!

If however you are using this service and receive your shipment within 2 to 3 weeks then I consider you as a lucky person.

I've been experiencing the worst service ever from ushopweship..from the day I order until receiving my stuff. No trakcing system + unusual delay. You have to call them frequently and barely you'll have a good answer!

Now put your self in this situation

You've placed an order from the US using your forward mail "ushopweship". 7 days later you called ushopweship to check on your shipment! The lady who works there told you: send us an email and mention the tracking number, your mail box number, and the date. You did exactly what she told you! 3 days later.. you called them back and ask again for your shipment.. You were informed that the shipment is still in the US! And it’ll take two more days until it reaches Kuwait. Again.. again and again. You start wondering about your shipment! Another more two days passing and still no one called.. not even an email from them to know the status of your shipment ! You call them back and as usual "we didn't receive your shipment yet". and every time you call them they give you different excuses.

Exc1: The flight from the US is canceled.
Exc2: The airport is holding the shipment.
Exc3: The tracking system is down.
Exc4: The driver is busy with many packages to be delivered.
Exc5: Your shipment is on hold in the customs.

I hate it when I call them and one lady tells me something, and the next day another lady tells me something totally different. Now the worst part... When you need to talk to their manager and ask them for his/her telephone number.
And guess what was their answer!? -> "Ma'am I cannot give you the manager number"!! What? WTH!!!?

After reading some reviews and checking Amaya's menu I decided to order from this restaurant. The menu is a combination of seafood & chinese food. Amaya Restaurant Located in Mishrif Co op, you can find some review/Menu through 24:8am and q8paperdump . The food was good, it wasn't waaaw though! In fact it was way below my expectation.. The Pics on the menu look much tastier! However if you are planing to try this restaurant I suggest that you go to the restaurant directly instead of home delivery. because seafood are preferred to be fresh/hot from the oven to your table!

I've been using Radox Shower gel lately.. The Shea Butter nouireshd shower gel smelt quite relaxing.. As I squeezed a clod of shower cream out into my hand the scent that buffed up from it was lovely, It moisturizes your body & completely relaxes u! Unfortunatily I didn't found it here in Kuwait! It is available in the UK and while I was in Bahrain I found it in one of the supermarket "Almontazah", I wish I would've brought a suitcase full back to Kuwait.

I've been using Vaseline Cocoa butter for a while now..and I really like it. Amazingly it melts inside the skin and smooths away dullness.

Vaseline made and excellent change when they add Cocoa Butter to their product line! I remember once I was searching for a good cocoa & shea butters lotion online, and coincidently I found an ad to Vaseline "Cocoa butter" new product range.. I didn't find it here in Kuwait at that time, so I called Sultan center as usual and asked them to bring it! Within a week they call me back and told me that they only received the lotion. and since that day they started to provide more quantities for sell.

The one I am using now is the cocoa butter deep conditioning lotion, still didn't try/not yet available the smoothing body butter, and the vitalizing Gel body oil of the same range.

Second Week At AUM

I've been busy lately with the beginning of my first semester at AUM for the MBA program. So far everything tend to be just cool..I have three lectures for this semester each lecture require 3 hours attendance per day/week, and a half hour break in the middle of the lecture.

The timing is somehow flexible but since it is a long way driving from Kuwait city to Al Egaila where the new building of the University located, I am reaching home late at night!

The teaching staff are excellent, and the program was so organised and very well structured.

I also had a different/positive view/concept for business , which one day was out of my concern before attending the MBA program. I didn't like financial accounting that much :( but I started loving economics :)
I eat a late breakfast the day I am having lectures and skip both lunch and dinner meal! I might eat light snack when I am back to home from the University, but the thing that I don't have time for dinner, usually I don't eat late at night! and I barely have my shower when am back,spend few hours reading/surfing, then sleEep Zzzzz.
As for lunch, if I ate my lunch before going to the University I would end up in laziness! and I might lose concentration! "in fact it does not really matter since it would be an added advantage to lose some weights"!

You know this feeling when you have to wake up the next day in the early morning to start your first day at work after Ramadan and Eid holiday, while you still didn't programmed your self for the new timing!

It was almost 1 Am when I entered my room, preparing my self to sleep early *lol* in order to wake up early!

I turned on the TV and logged into the Internet before sleeping.. As I was not feeling sleepy at all! 15 minutes later I decided to sleep and force my self to do so.

I switched off everything in the room (laptop,TV,Lights) as I was so worried not skip my work the next day! 20 minutes later between trying to sleep and checking the time every 5 minutes. I decided to log on again! I felt deplorably bad and alerted, why the hell I am not able to sleep? 15 minutes later I turned on the TV too! and decided to watch gossip girl! I thought the idea of watching the TV would make me fall asleep. I spent the entire time between watching the TV, reading through the blogs, and playing Isketch. Ohh god it was 3 AM what's up with me!!! I have to sleep I have to sleep I have to sleep, I kept repeating those words! again I turned everything off. I also started counting the sheep! I remembered once at my childhood, my aunt told me if you are not able to sleep, close your eyes and imagine a flock of sheep jumping over a fence while counting the number that do so. it just like something that tire the eyes which also simulate rapid eye movement.

While I was counting the sheep, I felt my eyes blinking whenever a sheep jumps.. it wasn't funny at all! The time was passing and didn't know what to do.. shall I stay awake until work time? am I going to function well without sleeping!!! by the way what's the longest time you've gone without sleep?

Again I ended up continue watching gossip girl until 5 AM, and that was the last time I checked on my watch.

At 6 AM I felt my head exploding, it was my wake up alarm. I used my cell phone and hit snooze about three times until I wake up.

It was a long busy day at work... however, spending only 60 minutes while sleeping.. wasn't that bad after all :)

Now the worst part that I am still awake :) I don't feel sleepy at all! sounds weird but I just cant sleep at this time and never did before!

Spending 5 hours trying to figure out the wepkey

I am in Bahrain now for Eid Holiday.. I came here to visit my friend who is staying and studying there. She picked me up from the airport heading back to her apartment. when we reached there I remembered something important that have to be done through the Internet! I switched my laptop on trying to connect to the Internet via her wireless connection.

Me: what is your wep key?

Bhh: emmmm... try 0123456789

Me: it does not work!!

Bhh: then try 1234567890

Me: are you sure about the wep key?

Bhh: yes it was something like that!

Me: Ohh god... please, try to remember!

Bhh: Then try 0987654321 or 9876543210

Me: Comeon both are not working!

Bhh: I am not sure I cant remember!

Me: Ok lets go out for dinner and we will try to figure it out later!

Bhh: Ok

So we went out for dinner and did some grocery shopping together.. after that we returned back to here place.

I was trying to read the manual for "net gear access point" in order to solve this bothering problem.

She offered me her laptop, but I didn't really wanna use her laptop since I have to check some important issues from my own laptop where the passwords are stored there and couldn't really memorise them!

Again to the search process but this time trying to find out a software that might retrieves her wep key. it took me more than two hours searching for the right software for the retrieval process! until I found "wireless key view" for retrieving wep key passwords!

it was free of charge, a very simple software. I did the installation on her machine. and guess what was the password? 1234567891 !!!!!!!

I couldn't stop laughing and spend the entire day repeating the numbers in a loud voice!! again and again!
